Beginning with its dark ruby color and enticing aromas of ripe black cherry, rich vanilla and hints of spicy cedar, this is a lively wine that fills the mouth with bright flavors of cherry and cassis. Aged for 22 months on French and American oak and blended with 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is well structured with deliciously smooth tannins and a lingering smoky finish that offers a perfect complement to grilled meats, lamb stew or a tasty harvest salad of mixed greens, candied pecans and crumbled gorgonzola cheese.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON
"Sleek and focused, black
cherry, black currant, vanilla and chocolate. Densely structured but the tannins
are sweet and finely grained. Long, balanced finish shows restraint despite
the density." — John Quinones
A Decanter Magazine "Top Wine of the Year" for 2003.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Our 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon
just received its second Gold Medal, this one from the prestigious Orange
County Fair Wine Competition.
Comprised of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc, this wine is plush and velvety, overflowing with generous amounts of ripe cherry and blackberry flavors. With soft undertones of elegant cassis and blackcurrants, in the mouth its round tannins tell you this wine has plenty of structure for aging. Well-integrated French and American oak contribute to the lingering, spice-laden finish. This is a terrific wine that deserves the best meals and most convivial company you can summon to your table.
